Great work, your sense of depth is really fantastic. I love his expression, he looks as if he's in the middle of a conversation, or perhaps a surprise photo. You do very well with lips and face shape, which I see a lot of issues with in other artist's portrait work. I believe his eyebrows are a bit thicker, but your reference looks as if it's dated somewhere in 2006 (judging by his hair cut), in which case they are just fine. His lips look as pillowy as they do in real life, and your coloring of the eyes is gorgeous. All in all, a terrific piece. Your work gets better and better all the time.

Yes, it's always hard with Brendon...I liked his lips and eyes in this shot, the lips were a real pain, but that's how I learn to do it better :lol: I'm still just learning in oils, so EVERYTHING is a challenge, haha.
