Exquisite torture, when love turns its blade to cut your heart out and leave it forever scarred but never healed. Alive only enough to feel the pain. Cruelly used by both sides in a war in which, no matter who wins, the pain will always be there. Great sacrifice is the only redemption.

My tribute to Severus Snape was to show him as the powerful, strong, courageous wizard he was. Wounded, but still standing tall and proud. To me, it means you don’t have to be perfect to be a hero. I love Snape the outcast with all his flaws, maybe even more, because of them.
